Choice

Here I am staring at you
and I can't stop thinking what should I do
while I know you make me happy and feel loved
there is someone else that for you is above
I want to say that you are the one for me
but I know that could cause a catastrophe
another who cares for you is very close
while I say I might have a chance I don't want to boast
because I know that you mean the world to her
and I wish for this problem there was a cure
I want to talk to you and hear the warmth of your voice
but in doing that I could be making a wrong choice
because while I care for you with all of my being
it is her you should be seeing
because when it comes to it she deserves you
and I know in my heart it is true
so I will weep in sorrow and shed tears for years to come
but I will know that are with the one
and so I will learn to move on
