The Game

Okay lets start this again,
say this whole scheme was just pretend
that we are just in some charade that is just a test
that our life is just a test to see who will be the best

So look at the ranking and where do you stand
because for me I am finding this hard to grasp
I mean am I at the end or at the top with the most grand
or am I in the middle with the rest who are just under the betters clasp?

Now let's say that everyone around is fighting to be at the top
and if you back down the difficulties will never stop
to be at the top is to have no worries no problems that cause grief
so now are you at the bottom of despair or the top of relief

However you could be in the middle
cruising without too many trouble just trying to get through the game
although you are in a way just like the higher ones fiddle
will you just keep going the same?

In this game you only have one life
no lives to waste, no chances to let go to strife
oh and just to make it more fun you can only love one
only one person to love and if you love more your done

Now look at this game and see would you survive?
would you just make it to the end of the game
still there physically but your mind did not come out alive
or would you be the few who live and come out with not a single blame?

I Dare You

Today I made a deal with the world
hit me with your best shot and I'll fight back with mine
and that no matter what disastrous swirl
I would keep trying with a force so divine

from here on out
no matter how much you shout
I will not fall under your force
and I will keep trying no matter what the course

you can send out all my fears
you can try to make me weak
but you will see no tears
and when you try to tear me down you will be the one turning bleak

I dare you world, to try to defeat me
but it will only be a one sided victory you shall see
one of us will come out alive
so the question is who will survive?

Do Not Change

I find myself looking for some great change
something that will alter the world around
maybe even something strange
even if it is the shifting of the ground,
and in the quest I have found that change
can make an array of results
some good and some just plain strange
some I have found can be tumults
most however do not seem to make life differ
because we have learned how to make things go back to order
and no matter what the more try to change we just become more stiffer
it is as if we just cannot cross the border
we try to change the things that people do not agree with
and we try to appease to what they desire
but our personalities will never go to every desire and with that we must live
and in trying to change out natural abilities we will only tire
I have tried to change who I am several a times
the traits I possess, the habits I do
and from this I have made a great find
that there is no way to change who are in the true
and if you try you will only become blind
be who you are, although you may find people will not agree
or like the way you are
there are always those that your true beauty they will see
and no matter what you are who you are
