The Simple Things

The slight wind brush in the trees
the gentle water as it reaches your knees
a beautiful raindrop on your face
another flower that none can replace
the sunlight as it sprays on your being
while the slight of birds you are seeing
the simple things in life
that make it such a great strife
the things that make life so sweet
and nothing else with it can compete
the things in life we stop at and look
even the simplicity of reading a book
these are the simple things
that so much joy brings

Another Motivational Poem

The world is at our finger tips and yet we let it pass by

we have to power to change so much but time we let fly

we could be spreading our knowledge and sharing something new

instead the materialistic things of this world suck us in leaving behind only a few

we say someone else will do the job and help our world yet we still wonder who

and we never think maybe it could be me that creates the change if only sooner I knew

then there are those who say that they will change themselves and the world for the greater good

but when it comes down to it they abandon the thought and go back to a life of someone else should

and then there are those that take the world into their hands and spend their whole life trying to make it better

whether it is just a simple change or something that will make the world just seem better

these are the people who the world looks upon with a face of appeal

making these peoples deeds seem surreal

why is it that we can not be these people that make us feel honor and pride

and why is it that it is the ones who could make great change that hide

our world is used to the normal and to the same

and laying around becoming more and more lame

we waste our talents and our dreams

on things such trying to make our life artificially better than it seems

and so I challenge you today

to go a different way

you may not be as great as some of the ones that came before you

but with a little hope and encouragement there is anything you can do

and while this seems like a false promise and just another motivational rant

the smallest inspiration can make some people say always say yes and never I can't  

Repeating Heart Break

We all have our loves in life
the ones who make you feel great or kill your heart with a knife
some will never even know of your love
and you may even fall for those who are way above
we let many get away
when we wished that they could have stayed
just for a little longer
so that your love could grow stronger
but once they leave your heart breaks like never before
and you just want to see them back at your door
but in a strange way you know its for the best
and that it will prepare you for the rest
the many more that will scar your soul
and create in it so many holes
and every time one more comes again
you want to believe that your heart they will mend
when truth be told
they might just make you feel more cold
but one day that one will come
and they will be greater than anyone

The Brilliance of Wind

The wind blows over my face
 Into my hair and eyes leaving no untouched space
 It engulfs my body in a brilliant swirl
While my mind it rapidly twirls
 A joy spreads throughout my heart
 And a feeling of greatness begins to start
 It makes me want to dance and sing
 And run in unending rings
 It brings joy and comfort into my soul
 And now because of this new found greatness I can reach my goal

The Beauty of the Earth

The glory of the earth shines in our path

 Not showing any discouragement or any wrath 

The beauty is present near and far 

But some places you cannot simply reach by car

 You must explore the depths of the world and seas

 And go through raging waters and millions of trees

 The world around is waiting to be explored today So what will you say? 

Will you let the unknown beauty stay unknown?

 Or your intelligence grow from the nature show 

 The valleys and plains wait to be looked upon by your own eyes

 And the deep caverns want to go without disguise 

 The world around us is waiting to be discovered

 So what in knowledge and search will you uncover?

The So Called Rejected

So many people walk around with a smirk on their face

not knowing that a smile it could replace

always saying woe on my soul

while only from themselves are they making a dark empty hole

they beg the world to see their pain

while their ignorance is the real place of blame

there are those who are there for them but they refuse to see

and cry why isnt anyone here for me when im begging on my knees?

they put on a show of no one is here for me

but they are not the only one that their burden they heave

so many people are there for them day in and out

showing that no matter what they will always be there without a doubt

there are these people in life who can say woe is me

while people are there and they are trying to make that person see

they try to show them that no matter what the struggle they will be there in the end

while the so called rejected puts on an act and will just pretend
